3 Months to go..ONLY??!!

Today i received my Staff handbook and Packing List which was extremly exciting to read. The handbook covers so much and pretty much all my questions that I was coming up with since the last week of being placed. The camp I am going to is Jewish so I got to read a bit about what they do for flag raising and meal times. Also they have a specail friday night Shabbat?I think thats what it's called..sounds so fascianting and i cannot wait to see how different their culture is compared to mine! =)

I'm also really looking forward to my bunk room. I get my own bed and specail little shelves to put my clothes in, each camper has this so it makes it feel more home - like. I am excited about my group that I will be bunking with,I know it will just be all sweet as =P yess..

I have been Placed!! =)

I have been placed now for one week, tomorrow! I finally sorted out my CA application about two weeks ago and had it circulating for a couple of days without my video as well and i got an email from Camp Micah, Maine (it's a jewish co-ed camp) last Tuesday asking if i would like to go over and teach BMX/Mountain biking. Of course i said "YES!" So now i'm in the excited camp mode that im rather enjoying muchly. =) On Firday i skyped Steve the guy who had hired me, and we had a great chat and we are both extremly excited for Camp. I leave on the 19th of June pretty late but i'm fine with that..it gives me more time to get everything sorted out! Argh stress have to book my flights and visa. Have filled the two forms out online now I just have to wait till i receive the rest in the mail. Also my contract from Camp Micah..

I really cannot wait to go and miss at least two months of our horrible cold winter. Yay!!
